Parachute Films

Parachute Films is a Tbilisi-based independent production company dedicated to bold, author-driven storytelling with strong international appeal. The company was founded by a producer-director duo Elene Margvelashvili and Kote Kalandadze in 2014. We develop and produce fiction and documentary films through European co-productions, and offer full production services in Georgia. Recent titles include Blueberry Dreams (CPH:DOX 2024 / Georgia, France, Belgium, Qatar), Air Blue Silk (POFF 2024), and Dead Souls’ Vacation (Hot Docs 2020), each earning critical recognition and awards across festivals. We champion emerging voices, invest in film education and are dedicated to growing Georgia’s film ecosystem.
