ELF Pictures

ELF Pictures is a Budapest-based production and distribution company created by Ágnes Horváth-Szabó and András Pires Muhi in 2016. Their main goal was to provide a hub for filmmakers of their generation to produce feature documentaries with human, political, art and sports focus. In 2018 Viki Réka Kiss (producer of A Woman Captured) joined them. The production company debuted with NINE MONTH WAR by László Csuja at the Sarajevo Film Festival where the film won the Special Jury Prize and co-produced festival favourite OCCUPATION 1968. Their supporters include the Doha Film Institute, Creative Europe, ARTE, Hungarian Television, private investors and the Hungarian Film Fund.
