Kinhouse Studio (legal name: Kinhouse Sp. Z.O.O) is an independent production company founded by two siblings, producer Marta Szarzyńska and animator/director Paweł Szarzyński.
As a story-driven studio, our mission is to bring emotionally vibrant and engaging content to the world through film and new media. We seek to discover new possibilities in storytelling and give voice to talents who are driven to experiment with genres, technology, and interdisciplinary approaches. Our work is marked by bold production decisions, moving and inspiring stories, and collaborations with international artists in fiction and animation both on screen and VR headsets.
Established in 2020, we recently produced:
award-winning feature film SONGS ABOUT LOVE, directed by Tomasz Habowski, acclaimed by critics and awarded at Gdynia Film Festival (Microbudget Film Competition Award) and received award for the Best Polish Film at International Festival of Independent Cinema Off Camera. It also achieved success in cinemas, with over 70,000 tickets sold.
Our second flagship title is COSMOGONIC, interactive 3D animation in VR based on Stanisław Lem novel ”Uranium Earpieces” dir. by Paweł Szarzyński, premiered in 2022 at the New Images Festival in Paris. It was presented at over 30 festivals and currently is available on VR platform store.
Kinhouse Studio produced and co-produced four shorts: THE NIXIE by Julia and Mai Bui-Ngoc, EDEN HOUSE by Adelina Borets, LATKO by Marcjanna Lelek (premiere in 2024), LAST WILD RIVER by Agnieszka Kokowska (premiere in 2024).
JACOB’S JOURNEY is project in development produced by Infinite Frame Media (Canadian team behind multi-award-winning VR experience THE CHOICE). In 2023 our team developed concept and build a prototype for this project.
