The idea behind the Sarajevo Film Festival/Balkan Documentary Center’s Docu Rough Cut Boutique is to offer 5 chosen projects from the region tailor-made coaching, expert advice and access to decision-makers who can have crucial influence on moving forward the projects in their final stage. During intensive group sessions and well prepared individual ones, the selected teams and mentors are focused on working on the quality of the material in the rough cut stage. This is why our esteemed mentors come from different backgrounds within documentary scene – they are directors, producers, broadcasters and documentary consultants from Europe and the USA.
