Founded in 1998 by the Council for Cultural Affairs of the Executive Yuan, Taiwan International Documentary Festival (TIDF) aims to stimulate the exchange of perspectives, promote interactions and dialogues between international and Taiwanese documentary filmmakers, as well as to broaden Taiwanese audience’s horizon. Held biennially, TIDF quickly establishes itself as an important arena for documentary professionals and presents a wide spectrum of this genre.
