Proton Cinema Ltd

Proton Cinema is an independent production company based in Budapest, founded in 2013 by producer Viktória Petrányi and director Kornél Mundruczó. Since its foundation, Proton has been the home of admired productions of sweeping film festival success such as Delta, White God, Jupiter's Moon,Land of Storms, and For Some Inexplicable Reason. The company takes an active part in European co-productions, and was a minority co-producer in, among others, the Norwegian adventure film The Last King, and in the making of the Danish-German-Hungarian documentary titled 1989.
