Pandistan, s.r.o.

Pandistan s.r.o. is Prague-based production company founded by Veronika Janatkova in 2017. The company focuses on social-political driven topics, engaging mainly in the non-fiction genre. Among its productions are Half Elf by Jon Bjarki Magnusson (IS, CZ, 2020, 64’), Living Water by Pavel Borecky (CZ, JO, CH, 2020, 77’) and Ticket to the Moon by V. Janatkova (2019, 52’ & 72’), a German co-production with Kloos&Co. Medien, ARTE/ZDF and the Czech television that has been supported by Creative Europe. Pandistan has co-founded the DokuBaku Film Festival in Azerbaijan in 2017 and Veronika has been programming its first 4 years. Since 2021 the company is also co-organising the training workshop for documentary filmmakers KinoLab in Baku.
