Valencia International Film Festival Cinema Jove

The festival was founded in 1985 and its aims is to introduce the work of young directors from all around the world. The festival has competitive sections for feature (over 60 minutes) and short (under 30 minutes) films. The jury selects Best Feature Film to receive the Luna de Valencia Award of Euro 30,000. The Luna de Valencia de Oro Award for Best Short Film endowed with Euro 8,000. Also offers special screenings, retrospectives and tributes.
