CZECH THAT FILM is an annual film festival held throughout the United States from March till July 2014. The festival is dedicated to draw attention to and raise the profile of Czech films and to celebrate Czech cinema at an international level. Conceived in 2012, it provides an opportunity for enthusiasts of international cinema in the United States to sample and evaluate successful new Czech films recently awarded at both domestic and international stages.
Screenings and special events at CZECH THAT FILM festival will be for five months in 12 American cities on both coasts introducing new Czech films to the movie critics, representatives of the American film industry as well as wide audience of Americans and Czech compatriots.
All screenings include a diverse assortment of Czech filmography. Many of the films have won significant international awards, and each unique story provides a stimulating perspective from renowned Czech directors. This year will be extremely special because we will introduce one world movie premiere!
