brave new work was founded in 2000 and is located in Hamburg, Germany.
We are developing and producing feature films and documentary formats with national as well as international partners. Our films are provocative and thoughtful, funny and tragic, observing and exciting, entertaining and informative, while dealing with current issues from the fields of society, politics and culture.
brave new work productions have received various awards, like Max Ophüls Award, Studio Hamburg Award and Gerd Ruge Award. Many have been in competition at acclaimed film festivals like IDFA Amsterdam and Sundance Film Festival.
