Silmviburlane was founded in 2006 by Heilika Pikkov and Ülo Pikkov. Both known before mainly as directors, they joined their forces to start a small and mobile film production company in Tallinn, which produces documentary and animation films.
International highlights
* In 2013 Silmviburlane produced a feature documentary Flowers from the Mount of Olives, which had a great success in Estonian cinemas and had it's international premiere at the 66. Locarno Film Festival.
* In 2017 Silmviburlane co-produced Estonian-Danish stop-motion animation Letting Go, which was one of the two winners of ANIDOX Residency with the support of the European Capital of Culture Aarhus 2017.
