The production company Next Production was founded in 1998. The first years of the company’s existence were devoted mainly to providing services to foreign film crews. It has focused on feature film production since 2006. In 2010 Next Production produced a prestigious documentary for the Office of the Government of the Czech Republic entitled Saint Vaclav – Saint, Prince, Legend, directed by Martin Suchanek. In May 2013 it had its premiere of a fairy-tale film entitled The Blacksmith from Woodham, directed by Pavel Göbl, which is the last feature film project the company has been working on since 2010.
