Anna Khazaradze

1991 Productions is a women-led film production and service company based in Tbilisi, founded by Nino Chichua and Anna Khazaradze. The company specializes in financing and co-producing fiction and documentary films by talented directors. Their recent co-production, CROSSING (2024) by Levan Akin, opened the Berlinale Panorama and won the Teddy Jury Award for Ensemble Cast. Other notable works include SMILING GEORGIA, directed by Luka Beradze, which premiered at Karlovy Vary International Film Festival 2023, and GLORY TO THE QUEEN, which screened at over 25 festivals and won Best Documentary in Georgia in 2021.
