Dogwoof is a leading UK film distributor of social issue films and documentaries. We have released around a hundred of award winning films such as Black Gold, Food Inc, Burma VJ, Restrepo, and most recently The Interrupters and Bobby Fisher Against The World. We release films in the UK and Ireland, through theatrical, TV, DVD, Mobile and Online platforms, backing the releases with major marketing campaigns. We have just launched Dogwoof Global Sales, a service designed to help filmmakers promote and sell their films internationally. We let the filmmakers keep the rights, and welcome their involvement every step of the way. We give priority to documentaries that have potential in the UK market. We are looking for compelling documentaries with theatrical potential, strong narrative-driven stories, stories about exceptional people, and specialist subject documentaries with a clear niche.
