Encounters - South African International Documentary Festival

South Africa's only film festival devoted exclusively to documentaries. Besides the main screenings and the competition, through partnerships with funders and industry organisations, the programme has included an enlightening and engaging Industry programme: the Festival hosted master classes, the SAGE Editing Seminar, The Al Jazeera Pitching Forum and Presentation, the National Film and Video Foundation In Conversation and panel discussions.
