My Street Films

My Street Films was established in collaboration with UK’s Open City Documentary Festival. In 2014, the project spread from the streets of London to the streets of Prague and later to other cities in the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary and Ukraine. Amateur and professional filmmakers join forces to create an online film map of Visegrad countries which will show you fascinating nooks and stories of European cities from the perspective of their citizens rather than tourist guides. Anyone can submit their short film up to 10 minutes to the online film map anywhere in the world. The project further includes a whole range of film seminars for the public where filmmakers present their approach to filmmaking.
