BRITDOC Impact Award

A major annual international award, established in 2011, to honour the documentary film creating the most significant social impact, a film liable to have a lasting effect on the world and on people’s lives. Our aim: to help build new fans for the films and create new partners for the campaigns. All Impact Award finalists are award-winning, independent, documentary films. In 2014 five outstanding filmmaking teams have each been awarded $15,000 to recognise their achievements and help continue their campaigns.
