graniza deutschland is owned and run by Helge Renner, a freelance producer, photographer, director and editor. The company’s focus lies on creative documentary projects, new tv concepts and multimedia. graniza deutschland is a member of the German documentary film organization, AGDOK, the D-word, and the European Documentary Network (EDN).
Completed projects: “Pommersche Illusionen”, 2012 (creative feature-length documentary), "Kulturpålæg", TV series, 6 x 20 minutes, for N-TV Copenhagen, 2002-2004: a documentary-cooking-talk show that portrayed various immigrant groups in Copenhagen. "A Messed Up Thing", 28 min documentary, 2003: The German Artes family lives in a German village, 1500 kilometers east of Moscow. Most of their fellow villagers have left for Germany while the Artes are trying to decide whether they should stay or go.
