Female Freedom Film Festival is organized simultaneously in three countries at the end of November in Germany, Ukraine and Georgia.
The festival positions itself clearly and resolutely against the russian war of aggression in Ukraine. The focus of the program is therefore on the cinematic examination of wars and the challenges that arise in the course of a war. It is very important to us to bring the voices of Ukrainian women filmmakers to the fore and to deal with the situation of women in armed conflicts with topics such as war, flight and violence. The perspective of women filmmakers on the socially and politically relevant issues are our focus.
