Adventure Pictures

Adventure Pictures was founded in 2007 as an arthouse documentary film company by Marcin Jamkowski and Marzena Hmielewicz. We are dedicated to storytelling, patience and integrity with a focus on exploration, adventure and popular science. We have produced a feature film for Canal+ about a rock climber who challenges himself to be "Stronger than Ever" (that was the title of the film), a successful hunt for underwater antiquities in the "River of Treasures" (another title) for Polish TV, about the struggle of archaeologists around the world "Against the Sands of Time" for UNESCO, and a documentary about the last battle of the Vietnam War (shot in Cambodia) where the motto "No Man Left Behind" turned out to be an empty US soldier’s slogan.
