Start is an Italian production and post-production company founded in 1998, specializing in auteur cinema and documentary filmmaking. The company focuses on projects with strong social and environmental themes, often working with emerging filmmakers and developing international co-productions across Europe.
Start’s films have been selected at major international festivals including the Venice International Film Festival, International Documentary Film Festival Amsterdam, International Film Festival Rotterdam, Visions du Réel and Festival dei Popoli.
