Romanian Television is a public station, currently broadcasting a diverse range of programmes - terrestrial, cable, satellite - in Romania and abroad. It has 7 channels (TVR HD is still in an experimental phase). TVR is the only TV station that supports national film production, with 15% of its advertising revenue going to the National Film Center.
