This Human World International Film Festival

This human world initially began the same year which commemorated the 60th anniversary of The Universal Declaration on Human Rights. In 2008, it became the first film festival of its kind in Austria. As a prominent member of the International Human Rights Film Network (HRFN), this human world has since followed the example of globally established, recognized and successful festivals (such as those presented annually in Prague, Geneva, New York and London). In January of 2013, this human world claimed chair, and therefore enhanced its visibility, at the Human Rights Film Network. The festival maintains a close cooperation with the Ludwig Boltzmann Institute of Human Rights and since its inception has now become a leading and respected yearly tradition and an example within the conversation between human rights and film.
