The 4th International Environmental Film Festival of Serra Catarinense - FICASC, exhibiting 30 films, distributed in 32 sessions in the cities of Lages, Urubici and São Joaquim, and 10 films online through the site www.ficasc.com.br. The festival aims to democratize access, showing films with socio-environmental themes for free, bringing updated and quality content from Brazil and several parts of the world, addressing the environmental issue in its various nuances, in addition to promoting broad debate focused on sustainable development, talking to society about vital and urgent issues for the planet. FICASC has among its objectives to attract interested audiences and form new audiences, bring culture with quality information, and generate reflection on the role of each one in the search for solutions and alternatives for a more sustainable world. Promote lectures and debates between filmmakers, socio-environmental professionals, opinion makers and the general public in order to deepen the issues addressed in the films. FICASC, since its first edition, has held inclusive screenings for people with special needs, with films using subtitles, audio description and Brazilian sign language - LIBRAS, with 04 screenings to be held in this 4th edition, being two screenings in Lages, one in Urubici and one in São Joaquim.
