Alcest is a brand created by Jan Škop while he was studying at Miroslav Ondříček Film Acdemy in Pisek. Since then, he has produces number of various projects under this brand, all of which have been positively accepted by regular viewers as well as community of professional film makers. Treat, or Cure is a documentary film feature debut of Alcest.
Alcest has worked with a number of leading Czech artists and produced commercial as well as independent projects. For example a sucessful marketing campaing “Napište jim” for a non-profit organisation. It was shot in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia, and featured dozens of celebrity actors. Among them actors Jiří Macháček, Tomáš Hanák, or film director Václav Marhoul.
