The Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg is a film and media fund for Germany’s film metropolis, the Berlin-Brandenburg region. We support films and film-related projects in the categories of script development, project development, production, distribution and sales and other activities. Increasingly, we also support IP-based and other innovative audio-visual content. Funding decisions are at the discretion of the managing director. Funding consultants participate in the decision making process and handle all client relations. Our overall annual investment, across the range, is approximately 29 million Euros annually, including various national and international documentary projects. On average, we fund 25 documentaries per year.
