Kolektyw Film

The Polish National Film, Television and Theatre School in Lodz was established in 1948 and is considered as one of the oldest and most prestigious film schools in the world. Its mission is to educate directors and cinematographers of live-action, documentaries and animated films, lighting designers, still photographers, editors, screenwriters, producers and actors. Students achieve practical and theoretical knowledge, and shoot their own projects on film or digital under artistic guidance of acclaimed Polish and international filmmakers. Since its founding the School puts special emphasis on practical work in its teaching programme and takes great pride in its unique master-apprentice relationship, which resulted in an amazing array of projects made by its alumni.
