Erasing Images was established in summer 2011 by a group of filmmakers, artists and theoreticians, who have long been active in the cultural scene in Armenia. The company aims at interconnecting cinematic language and its means of expression with archiving, critical writing, politics, sociology, economic studies and artistic practices, as well as social media.
The goal of the team is to incorporate filmmaking with contemporary art and to produce works which are equally thought-provocative and interesting for local and international audiences and markets.
