Germain Kanda is studying film directing at the National University of Drama and Film "I. L. Caragiale", in Bucharest. Through shooting photography, poetry and essay writing he gained interest in exploring details as a narrative elements, which were later transposed in his first school films. In 2013, the short documentary film "Vibration" was selected in 10 international competitions and gained two awards, one of them entitled "Grand prize for experimental film" at the Sichuan TV Gold Panda Awards Festival, in China. He is presently working at his final exam, a short fiction film named "Sounds of a tuning orchestra".
