Vít graduated from his master's studies in history in 2011, and in 2013, he completed his master's studies in screenwriting and script editing at the Czech film school FAMU. In 2013, he worked as an assistant director on a social-theatre project, KunstZ, in Antwerp, Belgium. He has extensive experience as a freelance screenwriter, having worked on films such as Journey to Rome (2015) and as a script editor on Zátopek (2021) and The Word (2022). In 2020, he made his directorial debut with the short film Divine Sparks, a Czech-Belgian co-production. Since 2018 he serves as a house dramaturge for the Czech public broadcaster Česká televize, working on documentary film productions. Vít is also one of the three founders of m3 films, and The Other One marks his debut as a producer.
