Rati Oneli is a filmmaker whose work has screened at major festivals andinstitutions, including Cannes, Berlinale, MoMA New York, ICA London, SanFrancisco IFF, Madrid IFF, and EYE Amsterdam. In the early 2000s, he collaboratedclosely with New Journalism figure and Hollywood producer Tom Hedley,including on the stage production of Flashdance in London in 2008. His debutdocumentary, City of the Sun (Berlinale 2017), won multiple awards and screenedat over 130 festivals. In 2020, he produced, co-wrote, and starred in Beginning,selected for Cannes and awarded at San Sebastian. His short film We Are TheHollow Men premiered at San Sebastian in 2023, and he is now developing hisdebut feature, Ulysses.
