Kristýna Pleskotová graduated from Charles University, Faculty of Social Studies, in Prague. For almost eight years she worked for Vltava-Labe-Press Publishing House. From 2008 she works for Karlovy Vary IFF's Festival Daily. As a freelancer Kristýna also collaborates with film festivals (Febiofest, Summer Film School Uherské Hradiště, Jihlava International Documentary Film Festival), mainly as author of catalogue texts. In 2013 she teamed up with Czech Television's Film Center as expert opinion writer on film screenplays.
