After studying TV and Documentary Journalism at FSV UK and Oxford University, she began her career as an editor, creator of ideas, and scriptwriter for TV Nova and TV Prima. Since 2000, she has focused on documentary film making and, more recently, on creating mulitgenre formats.
Her original format Holiday in the Protectorate (2015) gained international attention and won a prestigious award at the Creative Forum Berlin, organized by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU). The series was followed up by Holiday in the Steam Age. Both series bring history to life using reality techniques.
She has written and directed numerous documentaries focused primarily both on history and crime. She is also author of the children’s book The Elements that is planned to be made into an animated series.
