In his work Georg Oberlechner deals with the fragility of hegemonic stories and the strategies of self-representation of authoritarian societies. His research-based artistic practice oscillates between archival work, installation and filmic exploration. He studied fine arts and cultural studies in Vienna and Buenos Aires.
