Markéta Magidová is a visual artist and director. Her work deals with themes such as children's imagination, gender and social norms and the relationship between mythology and the present. Her animated films, digital images and sculptures create space for new worlds and for reflection on our existing world. Magidová works at the Faculty of Education at Charles University and at ArteActa magazine, published by the Academy of Performing Arts in Prague.
