In her texts, Bára Bažantová mainly elaborates on her participant observations of life on the periphery - local, political, ideological, general. Apart from literature, she is marginally involved in documentary work and puppet theatre. She is a founder of the association Pojď ven!/ Av avri!, which organizes activities for Roma children from excluded localities. Outside the cultural sector, she earns money by working at a vineyard in Champagne and selling Christmas trees.
