Bulgarian born (1978) filmmaker living in Finland since 2001. He worked several years, directing programmes on emigrants for YLE. In 2008, he directed his first documentary film Family Fortune for YLE and Bulgarian National Television. His first feature length documentary Rules of Single Life (YLE, Bulgarian National television, Finnish Film Foundation, AVEK, NFTF, Bulgarian Film Centre, NRK) premiered in Finnish cinemas in April 2011, and in Bulgarian cinemas autumn 2012. It's been selected for the Sofia International Film Festival (Best Documentary) 2011 and Sarajevo Film Festival 2011.
Finland
