Born in Poland and a resident of Brooklyn since 2013, Matylda began making films at age 16 and graduated with a Master’s degree from the University of Poznan in Gender Studies. She is also an alumna of the Polish National Film School with a Master’s degree in Directing. To date, her work consists of short fiction films and several prize-winning short documentaries. She is an editor of two feature documentaries. Her short narrative film, FOREVER MINE, screened at major international film festivals, including Cannes and the Sao Paulo International Short Film Festival.
