Frosina Naumovska is a Macedonian documentary director living in Kumanovo. She finished Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Skopje and mastered directing at the FAMU International in Prague, with accent on documentaries. She won several awards and attended numerous film festivals and workshops among which: 0ff Cinema 2009 in Poland; Balkan snapshots 2008 in Amsterdam, Holland; NY Film and Film Video 2008 in New York US; Atkofil 2009 in Banja Luka, Bosnia; Cultureunplugged 2009, Online festival, San Francisco, US; East Silver Market 2009 in Jihlava, Czech Republic; ITN market 2010 in Las Vegas, US; ZagrebDox in Zagreb, Croatia; Targowa Film Festival 2011 in Poland and many others. Her most important projects are: short documentary „Playground” 200 (Atelier Varan – Belgrade and International Center for French Documentary Film) and short documentary “Ace Slash” 2008 (award for “extraordinary film” for documentary at Asterfest, Macedonia, Best Director in student program at the „Manaki Brothers“ IFF, Macedonia; Best bio-documentary in international competition at the New York Film and Video Festival“, USA and the same year ITN Distribution). She was also mentoring „Dream Town“, a full-length documentary project, where she directed and supervised the International student group „Trust“ from Kumanovo. She published the novel „Low Latent Revolution“ (with publisher KULTURA from Skopje 2011) which was translated in Czech language in 2012. Her last full-length documentary titled „Nargiza“ was shot and produced with FAMU International in Prague, Czech Republic.
