Monsour is the program director of the traveling documentary film festival Ambulante, which screens documentary films in Mexico and other Central and South American countries. The festival promotes new forms of expression and encourages debate on key social issues. She was worked with Ambulante since 2008 and is part of the team that successfully grew the festival into the largest Mexican film festival as well as a unique exhibition model because of its geographic reach and innovative spirit.
