Letitia Popa is an emerging film director based in Bucharest, Romania. She has a Bachelor's in Film Directing and is now doing a Master in Documentary Directing at UNATC I. L Caragiale and at Kask and Conservatory School of Arts Gent. She directed the short documentary film called "Marie", which got the Best Direction Prize at Astra Film Festival in 2018 for the Docschool Category. Meanwhile, the film was nominated at Prix Europa on the category of Rising Stars Digital Media, and has been selected at Jihlava Film Festival and FipaDoc Film Festival. She currently has two other projects in post-production, one of them supported by Périphérie Docs.
Romania
