Born in 1956 in Warsaw. Documentary film director, investigative reporter and producer working for BBC (from 1992). Graduate ofthe Iberian Literature & Studies at Warsaw University. In the ‘80s she worked for Spanish EFE and from 1990 to 1992 for CBS News. Her most acclaimed films are a 2004 “This World: Access to Evil” documentary about death camps in North Korea and “Children of Beslan” about Beslan school hostage crisis, nominated for an Emmy Award in 2005. PFFA showed her “In Silence” and “Gorbachov – A Man Who Changed the World’ (both 2011).
