Matej Minač (born 1 April 1961) is a Slovak film director, producer and writer. Graduated in film directing at the Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts in Bratislava, Slovak Republic. He has directed three films about Nicolas Winton, a Briton who organized the rescue of 669 Jewish children from German – occupied Czechoslovakia of the eve of World War II in an operation later known as the Czech Kindertransport: the drama All My Loved Ones (1999), the documentary The Power of Good: Nicolas Winton (2002), which won an Emmy Award and the documentary Nicky´s Family (2011). Last film TROUGHT THE EYES OF THE PHOTOGRAPHER is about hid mather, famous photographer Zuzana Minačova. His films received more than 70 international awards.
