Ralitsa Golemanova is a creative producer and writer. Building on her multidisciplinary experience in media and journalism and in political communications, she became a cofounder of the independent production house Smarty Pants Shooter in 2015 to create films with social relevance and international reach. Her latest film, No Place for You in Our Town (2022) by Nikolay Stefanov, is a co-production with HBO MAX, with 28 festival selections and nominations and 6 awards, including Best Documentary Film Award at the Union of Bulgarian Filmmakers's Awards in 2023. Ralitsa is an alumna of the international programs EURODOC, Emerging Producers, IDFA Academy, and ProPro. She is a member of the European Film Academy and the Union of Bulgarian Filmmakers.
