Bjarte Mørner Tveit (born 1978) is an experienced creative producer, writer and director. He is dedicated to making edgy, political documentaries, in topic and in form. Tveit harbors love for films and people who explore and challenge the system, who dare when others don’t. He is very interested in films made from the perspective of the outsiders and the suppressed, films who offer a new way to look at ourselves and inspires us to reevaluate ourselves and our societies; our rules, ethics and morals.
Tveit has had an extra focus on international distribution and networks over the last decade. He participated in a number of workshops and courses over the years, including BritDoc’s Impact Producers Lab and EAVE, and he sometimes teaches documentary film at university level.
