Matěj Paclík is a Prague-based film producer and founder of Breathless Films, established in 2018. He produced the award-winning feature “Our Lovely Pig Slaughter” by Adam Martinec, which premiered in the Crystal Globe Competition at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival and received a Special Jury Mention.
A graduate of FAMU’s Production Department, he is currently undertaking Daseinanalytic Psychotherapeutic Training at the Prague College of Psychosocial Studies. He develops an internationally oriented slate of fiction and documentary projects and is building KOKINO, a start-up connecting audiences with cinemas and distributors to bring both new and classic films back to the big screen.
He is currently preparing his short directorial debut “The Golden Touch”.
