Matěj Paclík started his career in film industry when he was admitted to FAMU - Production department. His most notable success is a short film called Sugar and Salt (dir. Adam Martinec, 2018) which premiered at San Sebastián International Film Festival, later winning multiple prices at Czech and foreign festivals, as well as being nominated for a best short film at Czech Lions awards. Currently finishing his bachelor’s degree at FAMU he recently founded a production company Breathless Films where he’s developing his documentary feature debut Foyer Europe (dir. Tomáš Hlaváček, Michal Pavlásek) and a short film Anatomy of a Czech Afternoon (dir. Adam Martinec).
