Marianna Vas is an independent filmmaker from Hungary. With an academic background in literature and philosophy, she graduated from DocNomads International Joint Masters in documentary film directing. During this course she have created several short documentaries at universities in Lisbon, Budapest and Brussels, which are participating in film festivals internationally. Previously she had received a Master’s degree from the University of Bologna in Cinema, Television and Multimedia Production, and graduated in Aesthetics and Media Research at the ELTE University in Budapest. Currently working on several documentary projects as director, writer and cinematographer.
