Comes from Liverpool, U.K. He originally studied architecture at Sheffield University and worked for a brief period in this line until moving into the medium he loved, film. He learnt Czech and moved to Prague where he graduated with a Master’s degree in film direction from FAMU, the Czech National School of the Performing Arts inOctober 2008. His work has received a number of prizes. Little Lies, his graduation film won the Best Student Feature Prize at the Independents’ Festival 2009 in Tampa, Florida; a Special Jury Prize in the Film and Arts Festival 2009, Telc, Czech Republic; second place in the Student Section of the Fort Lauderdale International Film Festival 2009, Florida; was a semi-finalist in the Angelus Student Festival 2009 in Los Angeles. Protection – unfilmed feature-length script 1998; Oranges – 5 minute, fiction; mini DV (2002); Fabric – 15 minute, fiction; mini DV (2004); Little Lies – 53 minute, fiction 16 mm/digi-beta (2009); Criminology – 2.5 minute music video; RED (2009).
