Britta Erich studied American and British Culture and Literature at the Hamburg University and then started working in the film industry as an AD, mostly abroad for German tv productions. After that she worked for six years as a producer with a Hamburg documentary company, until a few years back she crossed over to the funding side starting her work as a consultant with Creative Europe Desk
Hamburg. Creative Europe Desks are the information offices of the MEDIA Programme of the European Union. We're located in every country participating in the programme, and besides the consulting work we also organize industry events like coproduction meetings, panel discussions, networking events and such. We also have built a valuable network throughout Europe with our colleagues from the other European Creative Europe Desks. This network is frequently used by producers and other parts of the film industry, basically from all around the world.
