Maria Stoyanova graduated as an actress for Drama Theater in the Slavic University. In 2008 she started her specialization in Film and TV directing in the National Academy of Theater and Film Art in the class of Georgi Djulgerov. The same year she was a n assistant director in the Georgi Djulgerov’s feature movie – “Kozelat”. During the next years she completed several short movies which took place in prestigious festivals in Bulgaria and abroad. In 2010 Maria made a music video which won the first price in the international competition “Make a Star”, USA. At the present moment Maria is developing a full length movie project and is working as an assistant director in the Bulgarian production “Mice Poison” – debut of the young director Kostantin Bourov.
